I consider myself to have been in the care business for a number of years at one time owning my own in home care services and then later graduating with a master's in counseling offering other services of clinical care, and pre need services. Now I'm at a point in my life that I just want to slow down a bit, still helping, but give of my time to families who are in need of help in Care giving. I am punctual, very compassionate about what I do for people who have lost some independence from a life event. Compassion for the family involved to help lessen the burden. I like to tell stories that help the family get to know who I am and I love to hear stories from them as well. I have made Caregiving my Career and take it seriously to become highly regarded and recommended. I enjoy helping the patient and their families keep their lifestyles they have without interruption. I like seeing results so with that being said, I had achieved my series 6 & 63 license (which was a challenge for me) and was proud to present products that would get higher interest with low risk. I also did debt settlements and was happy to negotiate the lowest rate for my clients to settle. I work hard and with compassion whether your my customer, patient, friend or family member because I believe everyone needs help sometimes and I look past any obstacles getting it done.

As a teen in high school I was fortunate to have worked at a Retirement home, and I soon learned the need of help the residents had .And that there were all types of health issues that needed to be addressed. I was able to learn a lot with this type of hands on interaction with the patrons. I was able to help with family members later in life and with friends that needed care.I learned also from each individual .their life experiences that they shared. They appreciated that I was not just their care giver but a friend.I have received training in Human Services, good nutrition, saftey and personal care. I enjoy history, antiques gardening and all animals.I have always had some type of pet and will help you with your's.
I chose to become a caregiver when my Uncle who was on hospice could not be placed in a skilled facility due to no beds available they said. He lived with me and my husband where he was fed, bathed, provided with companionship and made as comfortable as possible til he passed with his loved ones. I also have provided weekly assistance to an elderly couple with cleaning and shopping for them. I love to take care of people who need help. January '17, I ended a caregiver position since she was on hospice and has since passed away. I was with her since May 2016. Most recently I have been employed 40 hours a week caring for a 71 year old female with frontal temporal dementia.
