I would have to say when I was younger I worked in a convalescent home with my aunt. It was one of my first jobs. This lady named Charlotte we so enjoyed each other's company. She had a sweet tooth, loved choc. eclairs, as I do.. We used to talk and laugh and she really left a mark on my heart. I felt such a happy feeling to be with her, as she did with me. I am a hard worker I am dedicated. I also worked with a woman whom fell down the stairs backwards and was paralyzed, she was a professor in the city helping city kids who did not have much. I learned so much from that woman, I believe I needed her more than she needed me. We would prepare supper and clean her house do errands go to park, Dr. appointments It was a very nice relationship. I'd have to say I'm proud of the work I did and what kinds of morals they taught me about life. How time is priceless. What makes me a great caregiver, I am very attentive, reliable caring person. Putting their welfare first. Making them happy. I have a good sense of humor and desire to work with them. I have medical office experience as well as the beginning of my experience and story.

I am Josiecar, I am a professional Caregiver. I found my self and established my connection to other seniors who need the same care that my family needed. I know myself because only now I feel a true sense of satisfaction from the results of caring wholeheartedly. It is true that there are moments when I take time away to collect myself. It fulfills me and I know that I was called to do this work......now I know that I have found myself and I know who I truly am today. I am the happy caregiver, a graduate of Medical Assistant.

What make me a good caregiver is my compassion that I have for people. Its genuine. I became a care giver because I love working with people even when they are going through troubled times. Everyone needs someone and I like being that someone. I like being a caregiver because it gives me an opportunity to be around people and gives me a chance to learn from their experiences as well. A personal achievement of mine is when I use to work at the hospital as a one on one care. The patient I was with had cancer, one day when I was not at work she passed. When I went back the next day the family came to see me, and told me what happened. It was personal achievement for me because we developed a bond.

I love to help people and make them feel independent as much as they can. I'm currently going to school for nursing. I want to provide the best guidance and care I can to those in need.

Good evening, my name is Banely Chilin. Being a caregiver for me is the most fulfilling feel. Knowing that i am able to help those in need, letting them know that there is someone supporting them. I knew i wanted to help others when my own parents went trough open heart surgery, and they needed help doing must of things.! My grandmother also pass trough rough times and i was there for her making sure she was always ok. They helped me to develop this pasión of helping. I just finished my certification of CNA and CPT going forward to get my licenses. I am currently enrolled in nyack college getting my nursing degree. I am looking forward for what future will bring to me. Excited to see who i will be able to help next.

Being a CNA you have to be able to get on with people of all ages and from all backgrounds, and to be a good communicator. It’s a hard job and one that can be emotionally challenging so you have to be prepared, for. I Belive being a CNA for more then 6 years it just comes natural to care for someone as I would a family member..love helping someone knowing they know their loved ones are taken care of.
