My interest in caregiving started at an early age. Every sunday after church I would visit the sick and shut in members and others who requested prayers. I then attended a Medical Specialty High School and was involved in volunteering at local Adult Day Cares. When I was about 15 years of age my grandmother started developing Dementia and shortly after had a stroke. I became her main caregiver; cooking, cleaning, reading to her when not in school. I love the fact that I get to make a difference in someones day to day life. I tried many different ventures and always ends back into caregiving. This is what I'm meant to do and I'm good at it and enjoy doing it.

I'm a very dedicated caregiver, with a very loving heart for all my patients, I treat each one of them as if they are one of My Grandparents or one of My Parents, and I Love them with all my heart so that's the type of love I would have for each one of my patients. I chose to be a nurse, because I enjoy working with people, put them in my feet that I can help them better, understand their situation, share stories with them, help them in areas that they have trouble with. I am proud to see myself at the end of the day make them feel good and happy.
I'm a caring person who treat people exactly the way I want to be treated by others. I thank God for allowed me to receive both family education and the one that everybody else gets from school. I'm not doing this for the money for sure because this type work requires more than just going to work everyday for a paycheck.
