I became a caregiver for the simplicity - I don't say that meaning that care-giving is a simple job, yet I feel that caring for others is what my calling is. I am a woman and I have the built in instincts for care-giving. For instance, older people with Alzheimers and dementia need a different kind of care than someone that is recovering from a heart attack or stroke. I am not saying the latter are lesser medical issues, but someone who isn't "in their right mind" may need me to be their version of a wife, sister, daughter, granddaughter, etc. If I can make their day by portraying to them things that make their days pass a little easier, then that's what I will do. I takes a persuasion unlike any other to take care of those in the latter stages of these diseases. I also feel that it takes a special person to take care of anyone in need and I know I am that person. Enjoy taking care of elderly who need help very friendly and caring about other feeling love the elderly because people sometime family and friend donot haventhe time or patience to take care of them. We forget that their needs also need to me taking care of. A caregiver can me the eyes and the ears of love one.
