I have always worked In the medical Field since I was out of high school. I have experience in resolving unpaid medical bills since one of my previous jobs was just doing that. Another job I had was working with an eye specialist so I do know about glasses, contacts, optics, etc. I always get the best prices for my family and friends. My mom has diabetes so I always try to make sure she eats right. In fact I had taken nutrition classes just for her. I take ungoing courses because I enjoy learning about health.

Hello, my name is Maria, I am 44 years old. I recently moved to Illinois from California and am looking forward to continuing to care for a person in need. I've been providing care for the elderly for about 3 years. My first experience was caring for my 88 year old grandmothers everyday needs. I helped with feeding, bathing, medications, light housekeeping and was there for companionship. I also cared for an elderly couple, 24 hours a day 5 days a week, for 7 months in 2017. I helped with meal preparation, transportation, light housekeeping, medication reminders and was there for companionship, and anything else that arose. Currently I am working with several clients, but am looking for something more permanent. Being a caregiver gives me the satisfaction of knowing I am making someone's life easy and comfortable. I am proud of successfully raising my three children whom are loving, caring, and respectful, which I think is a reflection on my character. I am looking forward to working with a loving family, and assure you that I will care for your loved one as if they were my own. I am available Monday-Friday and am hoping to continue providing assistance to a person in need.
I have beena medical assistant for 9 years - became a caregiver about 8 years ago after my grandmother who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. After caring for her I got a job at an assisted living facility for memory care. I fell in love even more with the field. I took care of 28 residents and loved everyone of them. I truly have a passion for taking care of people. I then started working for an agency with home health to where I started to take care of loved ones inside the comfort of their own home and this was exactly what I wanted. They were inside their own element and comfortable rather than being inside a facility. I then loved this field even more because I was working one on one with Alzheimer/Dementia patients. I would assist them with their daily medications, bathing, light house cleaning, meal preps, grocery shop, doctor appointments, activities. I made sure they kept their minds busy and most importantly comfortable.
I believe that I am a great person that cares for life and other people in this world no matter of race, age, or challenges that one faces through the journey of our life in this earth. I am a Personal Care Aide and became a Caregiver due to finding myself helping my parents with basic daily living activities like, going grocery shopping, talking them to doctor appointments, assist with light cleaning, paying some bills and spending a few hours just visiting and talking to them about anything in mind. I enjoy being a Caregiver because I like it, have a caring nature, am respectful, reliable, trustworthy, and just like helping people in any way that I can. I am proud of myself that I have received a Clinical Medical Assistant certification. I have also, received a certification as a Home Care Aide with sixty-six hours of education and training. I do on going education in Health and am always learning new things and as well. I have three references if needed. I have cared for two elderly men one in his seventies and the other in his eighties. I have not just cared for my parents too but also, children and teenagers as well. I had volunteered as a Foster Mentor to a 13 year old teen and also was a Mentor for an 11 year old boy through Big Brothers Big Sisters organization. You can feel free to contact me with a call, text or email. We can then set a time to meet/greet to discuss my professional experience and see how I may or may not help you out with a loved one for care needs. Thank for your time in reading a bit on myself. If you like to hire me please offer to pay for the Background Check and I can give you a copy. -Rico
Hi! My name is Kerry, I have over 18 years of experience in healthcare with over 10 of them helping the elderly, disabled, those with dementia & on hospice care. I love to just make my patients lives, day or hour better, easier & happier for them, especially considering when it is not possible for them to be without care & support, & living an independent life on their own anymore. The people I care for are more than just my clients, they become my friends & extended family! I think of how I would want someone to take care of my own parents, & that's how I take care of my clients. Treat people how you would like to be treated is my motto! I love to talk with my clients, listen to their stories, & learn about their lives & what makes them who they are! I'm a CNA (certified nursing assistant), caregiver & a former nursing student (which has given me great training in vitals, medication management, skin & wound care, health assessments without the client even knowing that that's what I'm doing, & I'm extremely comfortable taking them to the doctor appointments to take notes & talk with the staff as needed). And through my past work experience, I've been fingerprinted & have had consistent clear background checks & I've even been checked & cleared through the rigorous scrutiny of DCFS & DHS! I also have a resume, reference list & reference letters readily available upon request! I look forward to getting to know you & your loved one!
I have been a caregiver for 8 yrs. I love what I do, and love helping people. what attracted me being a caregiver is the care, the patience and the love I give to the people, not only young but also elderly? I enjoyed the companionship and the time I spend with them. I am proud of the way the family trust me to take care of their loves one and also of the way I took care of them. I am Proud of everything I do.
