I am a great caregiver because I care for people and willing to go out of my way to help no matter what it is! I became a caregiver because I've always cared about people no matter what they are and who they are and I have a big heart and I know this is what I was meant and called to do by God.. As long as I can give back and know in my heart that I have done my job to help someone in need/achieve their goals that puts a smile on my face.

My older Brother was a resident in a nursing home at a very young age with visiting him and watching how he was cared for, I wanted to be a Blessing to other families the way mine was blessed. The care and nurturing he received inspired me to be able to care for the people in need. The encouragement and fulfillment of my Clients gratitude. I've had the honor of servicing one of the original Tuskegee airmen when he passed I became his wife caregiver just one of my success stories. I've been a caregiver for the past 15yrs. As a child I've always wanted to be a nurse. I enjoyed growing up looking after the smaller children in my family. The older I got, I had to help take care of my grandparents when they became ill. I feel that if you're in the medical field you should always treat people the way you would want to be treated. My last job consisted of me taking care of people with mental and physical disabilities. It really humbles me and warms my heart to be able to brighten someone's day and make them feel better. Getting my CNA certificate has helped me move one step closer to becoming an RN. I really enjoy meeting new people.

My desire for helping someone in needs is the reason I decided to become a Registered Medical Assistant. I am a full-time RMA & due to that my availability is very limited. I have 14 yrs of experience as a Medical Assistant. I am available weekdays after 8pm & weekends morning & afternoons & hoping to help families in any way that I can. I became a Caregiver because I want to give back to our aging populations and assist with their declining year with grace and respect. What I like about being a care giver is, not only am I a help to someone but I learn from them as well. Example, I've learned to treat everyone the way I would like to be treated if I were in their place. I also learned to take the time to talk and acknowledge the client. One of my most proudest client achievements, was when I was hired to assist a stroke patient with his daily schedule. This included getting him out of bed, grooming, get dress, prepare meals, and daily exercises. I was told his wife lived with him but she was still very independent and wanted to be left alone she wouldn't speak to anyone. On my first day I spoke to her, by the second day we were having coffee and a very nice conversation. You see, I acknowledge her and that it was her home as well as her husband's. Who am I? Someone who loves what I do, it matters not if I'm working as a Certified Medical assistant, Certified Nursing assistant or Caregiver. My goal is to make a different by letting my clients or patients know someone does care and I am there for them.
Life is a precious gift which ought to be treasured, I have taken care of my 103 year old grandmother in the past. Those times with her have taught me many of the skills I have now. I love to be of service and to be a great companion for someone in need. I'm funny out going and I know a couple of good jokes. Can't wait to meet you! God Bless
