I am a compassionate and caring person with 10 plus years experience as a Certified Nurses Aide. I am on time for work and am rarely sick. I have worked in a hospital setting for the past 15 years. I like to get to know the patients I care for and I want them to get to know me. I have a good sense of humor and try my best to make patients feel good about themselves. If the patient feels good about who is caring for them they feel more comfortable and makes the family more comfortable.

I became a caregiver because I enjoy helping others, I don't look at what I do as work because I enjoy it so much I enjoy the different people that I meet and the different things I learn. One personal acheivement that I've accomplished is the ability to help others and not look for anything in return but a thank you job well done. I'm a 31 yr mother of 3

I feel that I am a great caregiver because I try to connect with my clients on a personal level. I like to hear stories of theirs to help them remember things from the past. I also always put the needs and wants of my clients first. I became a caregiver because I always loved to take care of people. After having my daughter, the nurses and doctors were so welcoming and nurturing, which pushed me to go to nursing school. The main thing that I love about being a caregiver is that I can help people in need and give them the best care possible. I also love to interact with my clients and build a relationship personally as well as professionally. My most recent achievement that I am proud of is receiving my CNA Certificate from College of Dupage.

I grew up watching my parents taking care of my grand parents , I guess it comes naturally to me doing the same . Taking care of other gives you that inner satisfaction which is hard to find in other work settings. I'm proud to be a Nurse . I'm registered nurse from a foreign country working as certified nursing assistant with extensive experience working with seniors with different healthcare needs and trained to work with a lot of diverse cultures and settings. http://www.thequint.com/2015/aprhttp://www.thequint.com/2015/apr/07/female-gender-mutilation-indias-well-kept-secret/07/female-gender-mutilation-indias-well-kept-secret
It might sound cliche, but I feel as though God put me on this Earth to help others. I originally wanted to be a psychologist, but I knew I would worry about my patients too much. My next best option? Nursing. Becoming a CNA is one of the first steps I'm taking towards becoming a nurse. I'm very enthusiastic about my future career, and I'm currently attending Waubonsee Community College in Sugar Grove, Illinois. I'm planning to further my education to a Master's- possibly a doctorate's degree. I hope to one day become part of the Mercy Ships or Doctors Without Borders. The goal may be a stretch, but I am willing to work hard to get there.
