I became a care giver because I enjoy working with people, and I have patient for people, every since I been a little girl I had to be deprived from doing things with my friends because I had to help care for my grandmother she raise me until she left me at the age of fifteen so that's why I feel that "God" have me here to help the needed people's in this world. What I like about being a care provider is knowing that I could help someone who's in need and that the family members could be releave knowing that they have someone that cares just as much as they do. My most personal achievement that I can say that I'm proud of is knowing the fact that I was created on this earth to help people and cherish every moment of knowing that I can put a smile on someone's face and that means a lot knowing you made someone feel good about themselves. Something that I can say about myself is that I'm smart intelligent bright minded and very religious I'm s mother, a wife, and a great grandmother I like to read, shop, get my hair, and nails done also go to the casino every so often and spend the little time I have left with my family and friends I don't have to much time to do anything to much with my time because I enjo working a lot and I have multiple of jobs that I do to make ends meet but other than that I'm just home and on my computer playing games.

I love to work with people especially the elderly. This why I chose not to go higher in my field. The fact as a cna you work and have hand on relationships with your pts/residents/or clients. I enjoy talking and hearing their life experiences (something most people doesn't have time to do.) I am proud of my years in this profession (25 yrs). Working at the nursing home (New Orleans Home & Rehab.ctr.) Charity Hospital of New Orleans. I am very proud my work experience speak for itself.

I believe in treating my patients as if they were my own family.

my name is isrealy mealey and some of the good things about me are, I stay focus on what I have to do on the job, I'm very helpful to others , I take my job very serious and I'm as enthusiastic as can be and also I might not have years of experiences but I do have a month of experience but I'm as eagle to work. the reason why I became a care giver is because I love to work with others, also I love to see people to improve in their every day live. What makes me great caregiver its very simple I love my job and everything about the incontinence to personal grooming to helping them with ambulation,I was born to do this type of work every since i could remember i have always helpef the elderly,I remember once i probably was around 7 or maybe 8years old and i seen this little old lady and she was putting her grocery bags in her car and my mom was talkin with her friend i just ran over to help her and she offered me a quarter and i said no thank you ma'am my mom taught to always help someone if we could and to always respect our elderly and from that day i just always wanted to help people,my previous jobs tells it,I did hotel and motel work for over ten years i have worked in sales. I also worked in a daycare I was a caregiver I cared for babies from 3 mths to 1year old

I became a caregiver to help the elderly, I saw that their was a need to assist the elderly many years ago in my community. In 2002 I began a working for a Day center for people with Alzhemiers and I loved it I had a chance to coordinate the center with the help of some other people we opened the center so that the elderly could have a place to go that would help give the family a break but to also help the elderly get out and have some fun with people their own age. While I worked doing that during the day I would go out to some of the clients homes to take care of them at night and own the weekend it became a second nature for me. I love people in general I am a people person but its something about the elderly that makes me go above and beyond for them ,they bring a certain light to your day. Being able to assist them with the little things give me joy and most of them are just looking for someone to talk to not really needing you for nothing but compassion and a listening hear. I am mostly proud of me going back to school to become a social worker and I really would like to put that to use to assist elderly who are in need of help with anything to make thier lives much easier. I am a medical assistant at Ochsner Hospital now and I have over 18 yearrs in the medical field I am a very passionate person who takes proud in what i do and I love giving back to my community and promoting good health habits for people of all ages.
