My mother has severe dementia and Titi's calm personality and gentle manner worked very well in this situation. She prepared meals, did laundry and light housekeeping and helped with my mother's personal care. She did a good job of "tuning in" to my mother's moods and gave her ample quiet time when she needed it. Titi was competent without being overbearing. I became a caregiver because I am a compassionate , kind person who believes that anyone going through a tough journey deserves to have the best of care by someone who cares . I find the greatest reward in my job is meeting people who matter , and can offer as much to me as i can to them. I believe i learn from every person ive ever cared for.
