I am a great caregiver because I first learned how to be one by helping my parents and my brother. They had certain disabilities, both physical and mental/psychological, that touched my heart and helped me realize the importance of quality of life to everyone, not just to those who are healthy. Then, I achieved 89 credits towards my BSN (bachelors degree in nursing) and graduated with honors in Surgical Technolgy from Tennessee Technology Center, First Aid at MTSU, and am a licensed CNA and am CPR/BLS certified, and have a Leadership Award from St. Thomas Hospital. I currently work at a hospital as a CNA/PCA and am looking to work part-time to possibly full-time for someone who has the need for home health and/or caregiver needs. I have excellent references and take my work seriously!

I enjoy being able to help others. I am a Certified Nursing Assistant. I've worked in different facilities including hospital settings. I have 9 years of experience all together from being a caregiver to getting certified. What I enjoy most about being a CNA is I can be a help to people that need me and give great companionship to families and bring comfort. I graduated high school and have been attracted to my work ever since.

Heyy everyone i am 34 years old a mom of six beautiful children. I have a full time job outside of the home also i am a Certified Nursing Assistant and i LOVE caring for the elderly. LOVE to sit around listening to their stories that they love to tell even if they tell me the same story twice in one day i will still be so surprised. I love knowing that i am making a difference in someone else's life. Family of my patients have told me that i am a true blessing and that the good man up above gave me a special calling for being able to do the work i do but no it's about having the love to give and i enjoy every moment of it...

The reason why i became a caregiver was because i wanted to better myself, i wanted to help people. I knew it would be rewarding but no where near as rewarding as it really is! I love being a caregiver. I use to wake up and dread going to work! Now i love it so much, i just love being able to be with them with their family can't, Its so much more than just a paycheck to me. As a caregiver most of the time we are the first ones they see before they go to bed, and the first when they wake up. We have the choice be able to make there day wonderful! I have that chance that even though there sad about being in the position they are, that they know that they are still loved and still cared for! That no matter what someone will be there holding there hand! I am definitely emotionally involved in what i do! & thats what makes it so amazing !!

I was raised by my grandmother due to the death of my mom at the age of 13 she was of course older and my mom left behind 4 kids so my grandmother was a Christian woman .She and her husband adopted us as her own most of our siblings are older she taught me to love and to treat everyone how I would love to be treated she always said to take care of family as long as you can at home and if you have to get help from a facility just make sure you did your best .I myself always have loved to make sure if I see a person or know of someone in need try to help them or figure out a way to get them help. The thing I love most about caregiving is to know that I did something to make someone's day. My personal achievement that I am proud of is to try to further my education and to keep up what my grandmother taught me was how to love on people it doesn't have to be a medical need it could just be to feel a lonely spot to help someone finish well.

Being a caregiver is such a rewarding job! I love to help out as much as I can. When you know you're doing a good job and you see the smiles on their faces, makes me feel like I helped changed their life! Dealing with depression, dementia, and Alzheimer's can be hard on the family, as well as the patient. My job is to try to make everyone feel at ease and safe! I love my patients just like they were my own family, simply because they are!

You know I feel that this is a calling for me to give so much of my self to help others, And keeping in mind of the job that has to be done to the best of my ability .
