Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Caregivers in Petersburg - 4 caregivers found

Two things that I love and enjoy doing is helping children and the elderly. My grandparents raised me from birth and they were my best friends until they passed. I've learned through raising 3 children and now having grandchildren that life is much more enjoyable by having patience and living every day to the fullest. Knowing that by simply being there and helping someone really adds warmth to my heart.

I am a great caregiver because I first learned how to be one by helping my parents and my brother. They had certain disabilities, both physical and mental/psychological, that touched my heart and helped me realize the importance of quality of life to everyone, not just to those who are healthy. Then, I achieved 89 credits towards my BSN (bachelors degree in nursing) and graduated with honors in Surgical Technolgy from Tennessee Technology Center, First Aid at MTSU, and am a licensed CNA and am CPR/BLS certified, and have a Leadership Award from St. Thomas Hospital. I currently work at a hospital as a CNA/PCA and am looking to work part-time to possibly full-time for someone who has the need for home health and/or caregiver needs. I have excellent references and take my work seriously!

I was raised by my grandmother due to the death of my mom at the age of 13 she was of course older and my mom left behind 4 kids so my grandmother was a Christian woman .She and her husband adopted us as her own most of our siblings are older she taught me to love and to treat everyone how I would love to be treated she always said to take care of family as long as you can at home and if you have to get help from a facility just make sure you did your best .I myself always have loved to make sure if I see a person or know of someone in need try to help them or figure out a way to get them help. The thing I love most about caregiving is to know that I did something to make someone's day. My personal achievement that I am proud of is to try to further my education and to keep up what my grandmother taught me was how to love on people it doesn't have to be a medical need it could just be to feel a lonely spot to help someone finish well.
