I started in the medical field 20 years ago. I have always had a heart for people. Whether it was opening up my home or protecting someone I felt was not being treated right. I have spent the last 20 years caring for patients suffering with dialysis, Hospice, uncontrolled diabetes, amputees, high blood pressure, and cancer. I am a License practical nurse (2007), certified hemo-dialysis nurse, Natural Holistic practitioner (2005), CPR instructor.
I am a great caregiver because I have a passion for caring. I have 40 years of bedside nursing experience. I am a very patient minded person. I choose to become a nurse because I love people, especially the elderly. Therefore my focus have been working with geriatric patient all through my career. I decided to do care giving at this time because I want to apply my time and effort helping one person at a time.
My name is Norva and I'm currently and LPN/LVN. I'm currently in school to receive my RN. I've been working in home care for 4 years and as a nurse for 1. I have references from previous families I have worked with to better ease your mind. I love what I do and I am able to help you and your loved one. I am able to provide 24 hour care for my patients by working with my family. I have done cases with them before and those references can verify them as well. We work out a schedule between ourselves so you don't have to stress and ensure full coverage for you loved one.
I became a care giver because it is a calling in my life. I love people, God has given me the grace to endure, love, understand. I have compassion. I always like to help people solve their problems, take good care of them. I am happy that I can help somebody who is sick or can not do ADL's for themselves. I have volunteered in so many places, I derive great joy in helping people. My patient talk good things about me, they think I will be a good nurse. I am an LVN waiting to pass the board exam-NCLEX
I've been working in nursing for over 21 years! There is NOTHING else I'd rather do with my life than help others! I strive to always do my best to take care of my clients/ patients. I started in nursing homes, and went on from there to work in assisted living and home health care. I truly miss home health! I worked my way through school to get my LPN/LVN license so that i could help people and take care of them on a more skilled level.
