I am a loving and Compassionate person. I started taking of my grand mother at the age 15yrs old and she is 92, so that is what motivated me to be a caregiver and pursue the career. I am a student studying Occupational Therapy who is interested in working with older adults. While I was completing my undergraduate degree, I worked part-time as a CNA at a long-term care facility for 3 years and I absolutely loved the experience. I genuinely enjoy working with the older adult population. I feel that there is a lot I learn from the stories and life experiences that older adults have. I am currently only taking classes a few days a week which gives me some extra time to pick up a caregiver/companion job.
