I have grand parents who are growing old and providing assistance has always been my joy and I worked in an organization for persons with disabilities, that is one of the best time because I was able to provide assistance and was a voice to the voiceless. It is my passion to do same wherever I am . Put a smile on someone's face and make them see hope, I can say I have been able to do that because most of my client are uplifted.

I am a Loving, Gentle, Caring, Compassionate, Loyal and Dedicated Caregiver, Mother and Wife of 8 educated adults to young adults. During my teenage years, my great grandmother's bed was set on fire by her caregiver. Thankfully the fire was caught by a family member who came for a visit that day. From that day forward, it has been my desire to care for our seniors and others who are unable to care for themselves. I look at others no matter their race, creed or nationality as equal. My clients become a part of me as I will care and love them as myself. Your love one will always have my undivided attention at all times. Caring for others is part of my DNA.
I became a caregiver since the year 2000 after I graduated from Classic Nurses Academy and took my board Certified Nurses Assistant (CNA) licensure examination . Naturally, I'm compassionate , trustworthy, reliable, punctual on assignments , dedicated and above all very patience, I also love to make a difference in the life of others and put smiles on their faces, with that aspect of motivation in mind , I also helps the elderly at the volunteer food distribution in my community with whatever problems and needs that they may have. WORKING EXPERIENCE : I started working for Maxim Healthcare in January 2000. Through that, I connected with one of my clients who had Parkinson's disease. I worked with this client for a while until his children decided to hire me as a private caregiver and moved me with the client from Virginia to Colorado, because the children wanted their father to be closer to them. I took care of this client until he passed away. I returned back to Virginia after his death and started another work with Care Options in 2002. I have dealt with many clients with different needs and disabilities for the past eighteen years . One of the best qualities that I have as a caregiver is a sense of empathy. Whether I'm caring for a small child in a daycare or helping an elderly person recover from surgery, a sense of personal understanding and connection is vital. I understand the elderly may feel vulnerable, scared, confused and uncomfortable, and being able to identify and allay those fears can create a sense of calm and trust for those that I care for. Patience is also vital to the role of caregiver, I'm able to separate myself from potential anger and resentment and not take the situation personally, all while still providing high-quality care services. I can keep calm and soothe them in their time of distress or anxiety and being a a voice of encouragement. I'm reliable because I know that they depend on us and often feel a sense of personal attachment. I'm continually on time, particularly if administering food or medical care. The job of a caregiver is challenging yet rewarding. I do this because I am following a dream of helping others. Providing care to people, who cannot look after themselves, while maintaining their dignity, is an accomplishment in itself. I thrive helping people who cannot help themselves.

Helping mankind is what attracted me to becoming a caregiver.I have worked with several clients who became so fond and proud of me and my services. I worked closely with them as if they were family. Seeing major improvements in the condition of my clients is my ultimate goal.
I am patient, caring, empathy, loving and pay attention to details concerning the privacy of my client. Being a compassionate person attracted my to being a caregiver. When my client is satisfied with my job and has a smile on her/his face. When my client was on her dead bed and her last request was to see her angel and hug her for the last time. When she was asked who the angel is, she said is Jane. As soon as I walked in her room, my client gave me a big hug and a smile, and she said, that's my angel, take care of her.
What makes me a great caregiver is that I am able to find the good in any situation which helps people feel more comfortable and relaxed when stressful situation occur .I became a caregiver because of my grandmother , when u was younger I had to take care of her as she developed alzheimers . I gained temporary hospice care over her as time went on, she forgot how to swallow and to do many other things as time went on .so we decided put a feeding tube in her stomach so that we know she was getting enough food and that's when I learnt how to do G-tube feeding .what I like about being a caregiver is that you learn something new everyday and that everybody needs are different so being patient and actually listen to the person feelings and needs helps them with their daily living
