Before I thought that I was a really patient person because I use to love to take care of my love ones, friends, neighbors, etc even when they're show bad actitudes or behaviors or situations that you really need to understand them and love them like that and offer them your help. But in the middle of my life I realized that is not just patient is also compassion, that's all we need to take care with love and I think this is the most important thing for being a great caregiver . When I discovered that ,I deside to become a caregiver ,and I love to be part of all of wonderful ladies, and gentlemen life's that I have been working with. I feel so blessed to help and love to get all the knowledge, wise, kindness, etc from them. I just move in from California and I still feel heartbreaking from my clients that I left back there but I have been in touch with all of them and that make me feel better,so I have a lot references from all my clients and the agencies that I've been working with

Hello, my name is Elisa My caregiving started in 1995 , as my Mother became ill and I knew she would want a high level of in home care that I would personally be able to provide. As her illness became more extreme, it was important to me that she be able to stay in her home were she would be more comfortable. A few time a week turned into every day, then several hours a day. My Mothers wishes to be at home in her time of need was fulfilled . And it was a blessing and a honor to be there for her. I found myself wanting to give other families the same opportunity my Mother was given. I continued working closely with other families and also the IHSS of King Co. from 1995 till 2001.Then in California in Contra Costa Co. From 2002 - 2009 then I returned back to Washington State where I have continued my work with families. I am available to start giving the best care to your loved ones or yourself and give the opportunity to remain safely in your home. I am currently approved, on the Home Health Care Registry . Hello my name is Alondra, I have alot of experiences working with elderly people! What makes me be a great caregiver is the love I have for helping people in need, also having patiences and understanding people. I am really responsible in anything I do I take my job really serious I always make sure I treat each client with respect and fairness, overall I love helping as much as i can even if its bathing to cleaning to company even grocerie shopping etc. What attracted me to being a caregiver was my mom shes been doing this type of work all her life, I have always looked up to her! I loved the feeling of being able to help someone and the connections that are made and how doing something small can impact the life of yourself and the client you help. Its been my dream all my life to be able to get opportunities to work with as much people as I can. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is being everything to people who cant do things for themselves, to help them with anything they need at all times. I believe what makes me different is that i do my job extremely well but also with a lot of heart i am passionate when it comes to being a caregiver it is not just a job for me, although i am young, i have alot of experience, I've seen alot been put in tough situations, i can handle a-lot, be the support needed and i can meet everything that is asked for!

A caregiver of seven years trained to handle a variety of health and behavioral situations, I am aware of the impulse of families to want to ensure the health and well-being of loved ones. The help may just call for daily living activities with extra touches that make life worthwhile: decent exercise, tasty healthy meals, a clean, pleasant environment, a good listener and conversationalist, and kind, competent care. Some situations, however, require attending to seemingly insignificant, but crucial tasks, such as reminders to drink enough liquids, to move body and limbs periodically to avoid pressure points and muscle atrophy. I believe my care is dispensed with respect, kindness, and purpose, mindful their need for such greater than ever. A general "How are you?" might be followed with a specific "Do you feel dizzy",; and too long a spell on the couch will suggest an exercise or outside to smell the roses. The idea, above all, is to provide for the well-being of body and soul. A wise tip I learned is to give old people something to look forward to, whether a fun treat or an item in their bucket list. It may not always be possible, but sometimes, even just trying helps. My career history is eclectic, but caregiving suits me because I believe I make a difference in the lives of those in my care; more often than not, the tables are turned to make me pay attention. I consider my charges' health and well-being challenges, such as easing a cynic's attitude with kindness or making one's last days a comfort. By researching and learning about their ailments before I take over, I make certain I "do no harm". I have gained hands on and annual online training from Home Health Aide courses and nurse delegated work. An energetic, resourceful worker, I offer empathy, kindness, and a bright outlook. They are what I gave my mom, now lovingly sent off to join dad, with plenty to spare for others.
