Nursing is a calling for me. Making sure that people receive the best possible care I am able to provide is my most important goal. Safety first always, compassion, dignity, privacy, respect and hope are all important attribute's that I find essential to good nursing care. Caregiving has been a passion of mine for far as I can remember. It started when I lived with my grandparents. I saw how they were treated by family, friends and caregivers and it made me want to help others and give what others deserve in their final stages of life. One last thing that I do feel I should mention is that it is important for the patient to feel like I would be suitable for them, and for them to feel like it's a good fit, but for me to as well. This is important because the patient should always be happy and satisfied, but also when the caregiver is happy to be paired with the patient they can give the best possible care.
