My 13 yrs experience as a caregiver. I enjoy helping elderly/disabled adults to be able to stay independent, healthy and happy. Took care of my parents and friends family that made me have a passion to help others. Realized alot of people are alone, depressed and refuse to seek help. Offered my assistance to Dr. Appts, pick up medication, encourage clients to take meds, eat, do activities, offer companionship, meal prep etc. Desired to help make a difference in other people's lives. I developed an exercise program at a nursing home. It was so rewarding to lead the group and see the progress some of the residents were able to make. A stroke victim was able to slowly increase her range of motion on the side that was practically paralyzed.

My name is Morgan. I am a CNA and have years experience with home healthcare, long term care, and the hospital setting. I am a dedicated and compassionate individual who strives to provide the best care I possibly can to residents or patients. I believe that my patient care skills make me a natural fit for this position. I have experience performing Nursing Assistant duties, including feeding, grooming and bathing patients while helping them with their other basic care needs. I assist the nurses with their daily duties when needed. My compassion for patients, along with my ability to communicate well with them, has always made me an asset in the workplace. On top of giving quality care, you have to be compassionate. I am the one to listen to the person when they are upset or want to tell you a story from their past. I like to hear their concerns about life. I come from a large family and we all took care of each other. Besides helping others, I enjoy learning about someone's past. I like to know that families consider me a confidante and a friend long after I am done working.
