I cared for my Mother in my home until she passed, and cared for my husband (bone cancer) until he passed. I have a strong desire to help others when they are ill. I try to make each day a little better for them. I love to see them laugh and enjoy preparing their favorite foods, having conversations and listening to them. I am very active with my family, we ride roller coasters, go on cruises and we have dinner a least once a week. I am blessed to have a large loving family. I have outstanding references available upon request.

I became a Caregiver because a lot of elders that cant do for therselves anymore did a lot for the younger people before they werent able to anymore. I love to give back and make the most of the last of an elder. Some elders dont get visitations from people and come depressed and i love caring and giving attention. It keeps me motivated that some day I will be a RN and doing more around the world. I communicate very well with others, I love filling the elders with joy and comforting them when needed. Helping others is something I can do for a lifetime and hope that I can show others the good in helping others who helped us and made our History.

I have hands on experience caring for clients who have had a wide range of issues including but not limited to mobility, dementia, heart problems, lung problems, and etc. ranging from mild to severe. I understand all issues completely and I am comfortable with the situations. I know how to care for my clients and make them as comfortable as possible as well as explain any concerns and give suggestions on how to deal with any issues to family members who are involved. I am passionate when it comes to my clients getting the proper care needed. I'm skilled in feeding, bathing, dressing, and turning my clients who are bed ridden to prevent bed sores. I have my own medical supplies enabling me to check all vitals if needed, administer medications, keep bedding clean and dry, and meet any medical needs necessary. I operate many kinds of medical equipment such as, oxygen tanks and tubing, suction machines, and howyer lifts for mobility. I do all housekeeping duties, laundry, cooking, and cleaning. I'm great at transporting clients to all doctor's appointments and errands needed. I have references available from family members of clients whom I have cared for. I am passionate about my work and take others lives very seriously while they're in my hands whether critical or just as a companion. I love doing this type of work as it has always been a passion of mine. I go above and beyond my best to provide excellent care. I feel I'm a great companion due to my love for not only caregiving, but just to make a new friend, have great conversations, and to put a smile on the face of the one I'm caring for. I truely think that being a caregiver just came naturally to me. Growing up my great grandmother lived with us and I was taught at a young age how to care for an elderly person. It is a passion in life to make a difference in someone else's life in a positive way. I believe I have done this many times working for individuals and I have enjoyed every minute of it. I love to nurture and care for others, as a mom it just come naturally. :)

In 2013 I went to school to be a medical assistant. Well the college that I went to helped the students get jobs after completing the course. They sent me to an assisted living why I don't know Bc I was a pct at the facility. Well I fell in love with this type of work. You really have to have love and compassion for people in this field of work bc it's not the type of job You can do just for the pay check you have to have patients and love the people you work for as though they were your own family. I love hearing stories of things they have done in their past and just make them feel good even if it's just listening. I recently went back to school to do what I should have done from the start and got my cna license and couldn't be happier.
