Hi my name is Tracy, I'm a Mama of 2 and Nana of four. I became a caregiver many years ago and actually found out that this type of work was perfect for me and since then I have worked in nursing home, retirement home and took care of many, many clients in their homes. I am suitable for this type of work because I am a people person, especially the elderly, It makes my day to go in a home and at least get one smile out of a client but thru e to get laughs and many smile out of them. I go into a home and that is my number one priority is to make an everlasting impression by showing care and love from the bottom of my heart. I just recently spent a few years taking care of my father in law until he sadly passed away in November, And I'm not going to fib that was a challenge because eventually he had to have 24)7 care and we gave out home up and moved in with him, not to mention at the time was raising 3 small grandkids full time. But I would do it all over again without any hesitation. We had many wonderful memories with him that will last a lifetime.... And now being that I love to talk and do not like staying at home all day by myself I'm ready to help care for your lioved one. And now that I personally had to care for a family member I know first hand you need a break so let me help you with that.

Good Morning. My name is Tamara Gossett. I have been an active CNA for 21 years and Med Tech for 15 years. I have been caring for people since I was younger. I grew up helping take care of my older family members. I love being a CNA. I get joy in knowing that I can provide great care for others in need. I take pride in the work I do. I know that at the end of my day I have did my job to the best of my ability and provided quality care. I enjoy the interaction I can have with my clients. I have met a lot of different people, I have heard wonderful, happy, silly, sad, and amazing stories from my clients. Being a CNA is not just a job for me but it is my career.

why i'm a great care giver because I have a heart for it, an a great compassion for caring for people. an when I do something I do it right, I like being a caregiving because I can show my love and caring for others n giving the care and respect that patients deserve. I also want to be a caregiving because I lost my daughter last year and I have a lot of love to give away an when I do a job I do it right. For me its not about the money its the love and respect you give one another.

I became a certified nurse assistant in 1994. This is what God has called me to be and I love it. I have a compassion for elderly people. It takes being patient ,showing love and concern for every client regardless of the color. I will treat every client with dignity and respect as if you were my Parents. I have over 6 years of caregiving experience. I have worked in various places like Hospitals, Nursing homes and in home care. From 1999 to 2005 I was a Certified Nursing Assistant and went to a 2 year college to get my Associates degree in nursing, however due to hardships I did not finish and get my degree. I took a break from nursing for over 10 years to pursue a different career in retail Management. I just recently within the past year decided to get back into care giving/nursing.

What are your personality traits or expertise that help you be a great caregiver? I've always had a big heart when it comes to helping others, I believe empathy/compassion is very important, especially when it comes to the medical field. What attracted you to being a caregiver? I had a lot of health issues growing up and was constantly going to the Dr's for checkups. I learned so much from my Dr's/Nurses, that's when my love for my medical field started. They had such a great impact on my life and still do to this day. What do you enjoy most about being a caregiver? I love getting to know my patient/family, i've learned a lot from them. I want to be able to care for them the way I want to be cared for if I should need care one day. The feeling of helping someone and potential saving someones life is so rewarding. It feels great to do something positive with my time. What is a personal achievement you are proud of? As a caregiver, i've had many proud and rewarding moments with my patients. I was the first to graduate in my family and go to college. Getting my CNA/Med Tech right out of high school has been really rewarding in many ways. Just being a helpful hand to patients and they're families is the best feeling.

Because I do my job the right way an I'm great at it as well an I grew up helping my grandfather when he had heart surgery an doing that I said I like to help others it makes me feel greatly appreciated at the end of the day so I enjoy an love being a caregiver.
