I am a hardworking, caring 25 year old woman. I truly have a love for caring for elders. I started as a pca and worked my way up to med tech, and then supervisor in charge. I cant wait to meet my new love one!

Let me start by telling you how I got into health care. My mother Died in 2017 and it made me want to be a CNA so I could help take care of other peoples parents and grand parents being I'll never get the oppurtunity to take care of my mother in her elderly years. Im a mother to 4 wonderful children who i spend all my time with when im not working to improve our lives. I enjoy being around the elderly and taking care of them. I love listening to their stories of how they grew up and learning from their past experinces. I think the achievement im most proud of is pushing myself to go to school to be a CNA. I look forward to going back and getting my CNA 2 and medication certificate.

Im a positive outgoing person and full of energy maybe to much. That's one of the reasons why I feel I can make a difference in others lives. I have enough positivity and energy to share with everyone. While being in highschool I took a nursing class which allowed me to volunteer at the nursing home near my school which was amazing to me ! Everyone said I loved it way more than I should but they don't get to see the most amazing things that come from helping others! I also went to a elementary school that was down the road from my school which allowed me to volunteer with special education and pre development with pre schoolers. That also was so amazing im so lucky I had the chance to do that and or be allowed. So with all that I decided to go to Tide Water Community college in Virginia Beach and get my CNA. Which was the best choice I ever made. I will be finished by October 31 or November 10 we're waiting for an evaluator to pick up our testing date. While taking this class I have been doing clinicals at a nursing home near the school. I wasn't there long and after two days I had already fallen in love with all the residents. I love helping people and Its something that comes naturally to me. I love how they become family and to me it's helping me learn how to appreciate the little things in life. You also meet amazing people that having amazing story's. So I hope that you take me in to consideration because I promise I'll treat your family like it's my own.

I have been a care giver for over 14 years. I enjoy working with the elderly and helping them with all their needs. I have worked with dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, stroke, heart attack, and cancer clients. I do light house work, meal preparation, medication administration, doctor appointments, shopping/errands, bath assistance, laundry and help with range of motion exercises. I was with my last client for 7 years until she passed. She was such a sweet heart, I miss her dearly. I enjoyed getting up everyday to be with her, she became part of my family. I took care of my mother for five years before she passed away. As my personal experience it's not about just physically being there to assist in living care or attending appointments but to mentally be just as invested. My mother passed away almost two years ago. Prior to her passing she experienced a roller coaster of emotions including depression, anxiety, and even had a lot of self doubt. My biggest achievement was helping her cope and adapt to her new life style. Helping her stay positive even when she felt it was impossible. I worked in dermatology for 8 and half years prior and developed a professional relationship with my patients. It was never a second thought to provide my personal contact information anytime when they were in need. Any family or friend that was in need of home care or assistance I found joy in being the one to provide them with the upmost care and making them feel positive about their current environment and helping them cope with acceptance. From personal to professional experience I have a lot of compassion for what I do. I take pride in my ability to change a life. It's not just rewarding for the patient but for the patients family as well.
