what makes me a great caregiver is the fact that I put my whole heart and soul into what I do. I treat my patients like family, not like a job. I first started caregiving at the age of 16. My mother was a caregiver and I helped her. I knew then that this is what I wanted to do. I love being a caregiver because if I can give my best for them and care is always from my heart. All of my jobs have been with my clients to end of life care with Hospice involved. Knowing that someone is with them through it all . I believe my best care is with dementia and Alzheimer's I have a big interest in this and love working and taking care of them.

I'm a mother of two kids, one boy and one girl. I spend most of my days with my kids. I enjoy working with patients who need a companion in their live. I mostly enjoy helping patients with Alzheimer's, I find them to be the most amazing people to talk to. I enjoy talking about their past and their memories. My goal is to achieve my nursing degree and move to help as much people as I can.

I have acquired a wealth of knowledge through my experiences, education and athletic endeavors. Throughout my life I have been gifted with the chance to accompany and help many people through critical points in their life. I am very resourceful, creative, patient, calm, quite and highly educated. I have been working with families and seniors in paid positions since I was in high school. I am a registered nurse from Philippines and currently living in California, Due to credential deficiencies , I cant be able to practice nursing in CA , for now I am looking a job that is close to my profession and passion and that is Taking care people. I was working in the hospital as Emergency Nurse in the Phillipines. Worked as Medication Technician and Patient Care Assistant in one of the Facility here. I am also BLS CPR Certified.

About 10 years ago, my great grandmother had a stroke and is now paralyzed completely on her left side. I took time to take care of her all throughout high school and still now. I would stay the night with her and get her up and ready in the morning before I went to school. Just this past year, my great grandpa found out that he had throat cancer. He currently has had a trachea port put in. With that being said, I have been with him and my great grandma taking care of her needs and taking care of him, cleaning the port and transporting them to and from their doctors appointments.

I'm very active care giver. I love taking care of people that have needs. I have took care family/friends for a long time and i always wanted to continue helping people in needs. I feel good at the end of the day and its not just a job to me. Im very understanding and caring person. I'm proud of myself because I kept pushing myself and went into my own business.

In 2016 I began my time working in Direct Care with a desire to succeed, and the confidence that I can make a positive contribution to the individuals whome I care for. Over the years, I demonstrated dedication to my work and vision by giving insight for better planning, organization, and being naturally scheduled oriented and rarely missing scheduled work days, as well as completing all documentation required. I've also consistently took on additional responsibilities. For example, I took the initiative to become Medication Certified, not only for my benefit, but also for the care of my individuals. I regularly work extra shifts when required. Co-workers recognize my skills and aptitude for problem-solving and demonstrate their confidence in my knowledge by coming to me for advice on a variety of subjects, and work related topics.

I have been apart of the medical field for about 5 years now. I have knowledge of proper care giving for a patient and all their daily needs and wants. I was awarded shining star award in 2018. Which made me realize why i loved being a CNA so much, i get to help people who can not do it themselves fully and comfortably to insure they still are living life to their fullest.
