I have always kept my certification in good standing I've had my certification since 2001 and still on state registry with no complaints ever on my care. I'm a interesting person and I love working with individual with intellectual disabilities. I love helping others because it makes me feel good about myself and also see others happy. a decent human being can changes the way others feel about them self . Most importantly I like to socialize with everyone I meet for the first time and get to them better

I became a caregiver 10 years ago when my mom became my reason to go into this field. She had dementia, parkinson's disease and cancer. I worked outside the home as a caregiver learning more about how to have exceptional skills to not only be her caregiver but to provide the same love of the work with others needing care. I also have a adult son with autism and grabdchildren with special needs. All this has taught me love, patience and understanding of caring for others.
