I enjoy the ability to help others, to gain knowledge form the elderly. I became a caregiver a few years after my grandmother was put in a nursing home. I saw the love and compassion she received and this inspired me to want to help the elderly and disabled. I got my CNA when I was 18 and my EMT when I was 20. I am proud to say I have helped an number of sweet people and they in turn have taught me so much. What attracted me to becoming a caregiver was my grandmother she was hospitalized and I was the sole provider for her when she was bedridden those were the best 6 months of my life just being able to give back to a woman who gave so much to me and my mom. Without our elderly, we would be nothing in this world they gave us a foundation and my mission is to give back and make sure that they are fully taken care of.
