Hello my name is Lacey, I am happily married with 3 children, in our free time we love to spend time in the woods as a family or taking random day trips with our kids! I absolutely love being a caregiver because I love making people feel important and wanted on even some of their worst days. I have completed EMT-B school but with 3 kids an ambulance schedule isn't really something I am looking for, and caregiving is my true passion. Hi, I'm Tasha, I am looking forward to working with amazing people. I have been in health care my entire life in one way or another. I have worked im nursing homes, assisted living and in private homes. I have cared for people "from the cradle to the grave". I have worked with people with different degrees of mental, physiological and developmental status. I love conversation, I learn so much by just conversing. I believe that, if one wants to, any encounter can be a learning experience. I treat those I care for (clients), as I would treat anyone I cared for (family, friends). As a client, you are someone's "something" parent, child, spouse, sibling, etc. And you, as a person, are worthy of positive interactions, relationships, and a quality of life. My job is to relate that to you, in action and in thought. You have a right to be the person you were meant to be. You are the only one in control, you know your wants and desires, who am I to judge you, or talk against you and your wishes. I am not saying that EVERYTHING you want will be handed to you, but..is it really a big deal if you have dessert before or after a meal? I've worked with a lot of people (cradle to the grave) who have others put "demands" and "ought toos" and "shouldn't haves" on their loved ones. With moderation, does it really matter if the shower is given day or at night? Pending other plans, but, my life has been a struggle, why complicate it more with unnecessary "demands" all the time. I hope our time together will be meaningful and we can learn something new from each other along the way.

Have always had a respect and admiration for our elderly. Helping, seeing them smile and laugh makes me smile. I have spent 20 years in the health field arena. Seventeen of those in clinical research as a coordinator. For 12 years I have worked part time as a caregiver, evenings and weekends , providing companionship, an awareness of medical needs, spiritual inspiration, planned activities and hospice care. I have certificates and training in CPR, Alzheimer's, Professional Caregiver Education, Advanced CareGiver Training, medical terminology and phlebotomy.

I became a caregiver because it warms my heart to take care of other people and I genuinely enjoy helping people in need. I am proud that I'm able to be a caregiver and do what I love.

- I like to meet new people as well as learning new things. -most of the females in my family have done this area so growing up it's been my dream -the companionship and the bond with the residents -being able to learn something new each patient I get or have had in the past.

I am a Licensed Vocational Nurse who's passion is to love and care for the elderly and make them feel comfortable as well as safe.
