I'm a mother of 2 sons. Grandmother of 2! I had a very special relationship with my grandmother, and I think that is why I enjoy the elderly so much. I enjoy learning from my elders I have nearly 2 years of nursing training, and I have experience working in a nursing home. I've also worked with an autistic young man. We have learned from each other.

I am an outgoing mom that loves to cook. I have spent most of my life caring for others, my mom cared for my grandparents and I loved to go help and started staying and caring for them at the age of 13. I would help with light household duty's and cooking as they could not stand long to do it. I started helping care for my brother at 14 when he broke his neck in a car accident and became an incomplete quad. I got certified as a nurses aide when I was 17 and started working in nursing homes and caring for in home patients. I love to talk and learn from their experiences and get to know all kind of different people. I stepped back from the workforce when my first daughter was born and miss it dearly and am ready to return to helping others in need.

As a caregiver i enjoy listening to the clients life story and trying to relate to things that they have experienced in the past. They pass on their wisedom and experience of life to us as caregiver. And being able to make your client feel like they are still important is just an amazing experience. To see them excited when you walk in always makes me smile.

I have been a caregiver for twenty years, first with my own children then as an residential occupational therapist and finally nursing assistant working in private, institutional and home care. My education and experience has provided me with knowledge of critical acute care and other relevant skills required in patient care. I have been doing caregiver work for 17 years with great references. I love helping others. Love listening to old stories playing games cleaning cooking ect. I am also a foster parent. It makes me happy to help others.

Friendly, loving, and kind spirited person that loves to take care for the elderly. Over the last 11+ years I have been able to care for some amazing people. I feel blessed to be able to help ease pain and provide companionship to those in need. My greatest accomplishment would be raising my 3 daughters and being able to see them grow into beautiful young ladies.

My companionship for others makes me a good caregiver. I feel that it's my responsibility to bless those who aren't capable of doing the everyday tasks that I'm able to do then that's where I come in at cause if it was me then I'll want someone to do it for me in return.
