What makes me a great caregiver is I enjoy helping others to achieve to be more positive about themselves and be there for them by cooking , housekeeping, taking them to store, pharmacy , Dr appointments . I enjoy meeting new people & making new friends.

I'm a mother of 2 sons. Grandmother of 2! I had a very special relationship with my grandmother, and I think that is why I enjoy the elderly so much. I enjoy learning from my elders I have nearly 2 years of nursing training, and I have experience working in a nursing home. I've also worked with an autistic young man. We have learned from each other.

I am an outgoing mom that loves to cook. I have spent most of my life caring for others, my mom cared for my grandparents and I loved to go help and started staying and caring for them at the age of 13. I would help with light household duty's and cooking as they could not stand long to do it. I started helping care for my brother at 14 when he broke his neck in a car accident and became an incomplete quad. I got certified as a nurses aide when I was 17 and started working in nursing homes and caring for in home patients. I love to talk and learn from their experiences and get to know all kind of different people. I stepped back from the workforce when my first daughter was born and miss it dearly and am ready to return to helping others in need.

I have been a caregiver for twenty years, first with my own children then as an residential occupational therapist and finally nursing assistant working in private, institutional and home care. My education and experience has provided me with knowledge of critical acute care and other relevant skills required in patient care. Since 1978, I have been in the Office and Administrative Support occupations with experience in business administration, operations and management, Certified in Nursing, and Medication Aide with Clinical Acute Care skills in Aseptic Technique, Phlebotomy, Electrocardiography, Telemetry and Monitoring since 2010 and I am a perfect match for the position since I naturally actively looking for ways to help people.. In these past roles as administrator, manager, office support, and caregiver. My key responsibilities include the management of administrative practices, the methods used to gather and analyze information of clients, employees, members and consumers. My abilities to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those interested or involved in the work of the unit, review and evaluate policies and procedures, plan, organize, and coordinate activities of diversified units, interpret employment contracts agreements, laws, rules and regulations and apply them to specific situations, evaluate and enforce contracts agreements, compile and interpret data, analyze and resolve problems, prepare correspondence and informative reports and

I STARTED CARE GIVING AT 16 FOR MY GRANDFATHER WHO WAS PARALYZED ON ONE SIDE. I DIDN'T WANT HIM TO HAVE TO GO TO A NURSING HOME. IT WAS THE SAME FOR MY FATHER AND MOTHER. I AM ALSO THE WIFE OF AN UPPER BILATERAL AMPUTEE AND FULLY UNDERSTAND DISABILITIES IN WAYS OTHERS MIGHT NOT. I BELIEVE ITS MY CALLING IN LIFE TO CARE FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO STAY IN THEIR OWN HOME BUT JUST NEED A LITTLE ASSISTANCE WITH DAILY LIVING ACTIVITIES. I LOVE HELPING OTHERS. I AM VERY PROUD TO BE OF SERVICE TO FOLKS WHO NEED ME.

I am a very caring person and have a good heart. I chose care giving because I love helping people. I took care of my father in law for three years. His family... His children wanted to put him in a nursing home and I volunteered to take care of him. It tougher me how to love again.

I'm 20 years old my name is april Marie Lopez I stay In Cameron tx 76520 my husband will drop me off at work then will pick me up till I get my car I love animals I most love helping people and taking care of them it makes me happy to see their happy I lost my mom 6 years ago and it's hard because I don't have a dad and when I need help I have no one to go to so I'm pretty much on my own I have family but we all split apart after my mom passed away I have been on my own since 15 years old taking care of 2 boys by myself bouncing from house to house trying to take care of me and my 2 brothers I'm a loving person I do no harm I'm blessed to be her still till this day I go to church and give the up stairs man my all I pray that I can get back on my feet with a new job Thanks for reading my story....
