Hi I'm Cassidy! I fell in love with being a caregiver at my first job after graduating high school in 2016 working for a personal care home where I gained experience in many areas. Such as, dementia, diabetes, alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and many more. After a year and a half of working at this home, I was promoted to supervisor and was trained to be a medication administrator. I decided to become a caregiver when I was in College, I have my Medical Assistant degree, but I realized working as one, I am not around elder people as much as I want to be. I took care of my grandmother when I was a little girl, and hearing her stories and helping her with her needs I realized that's the kind of thing that makes me really happy and proud about something. My personal achievement that I'm really proud of is that I got to help others in a way I never though I could. I always put them before my self because it brings me joy knowing I was able to help someone.
