Hi, I am a mother and grandmother. I started out as a CNA back in 1999, following my mother and fathers foot steps. I always dreamed of becoming a doctor but God had better plans for me. He stopped me at CNA. Im glad he did because as a CNA your clients become family and its so much more rewarding.

I enjoy helping people. I have been in the caregivers field in the past and I really enjoyed it.

Hello, to share a little about myself, I love to cook and travel. I have two daughters, age 16 and 18. I have my Bachelors in Business Management and I enrolled back into school in a Nursing program before relocating. I was raised in Memphis and attended my high school at Fayette Academy. I love to pamper and nurture the ones I love. I am Christian and seeking fulfilling work now.

I am currently in college all virtual I am working on my Associates in order to gain my bachelors in Phlebotomy. I am a mom of three little ones under 6 years old. I currently work for a home health company to caters to veterans. I love animals and children and I am a nice caring generous person.

Working through home health and dealing with a range of clients, I have learned how to manage and take care of certain clients. The main conditions in which people have been under that I have taken care of, was with paraplegics. Working with these people, I have learned how to communicate with them, do certain things to their liking, operate hoyer lifts, and help navigate through their everyday life ensuring they are the most comfortable and happy. I have worked worked with a select few as well that suffered from dementia and altzheimers. With the year I've worked for addus I have learned how to deal with certain conditions in which people face, such as the dementia and Alzheimer's. I have also learned how to work through task and problems that may come up with people suffering from these diseases. A good trait I would say for myself, is being able to remain calm, and professional in difficult situations. Another good trait is I'm a fast learner on learning how certain clitents like certain things to be done, and when they like it to be done. I'm good on getting on a routine schedule with clients. It makes it not only easier for me, but for them as well.

I am a very happy and energetic person, I genuinely have compassion for the elderly. Being a caregiver means a lot to me because I was raised by my grandparents in their late 70s and 80s. so I feel like having caregiving as a job is a way that I can get back all the love and help they give to me. I I love the fact that I can give somebody else friend.

I am a very warm caring person. I've cared for my husband who is a disabled veteran for 11 years. He was diagnosed with renal failure and had to do dialysis 3 days a week 4 hours a day. Unfortunately the care he received in center was not always good and that was taking a toll on his health so after 3 years of back and forth trying different dialysis centers I took a class so we can do home hemo and I did his treatment by myself for 6 years. My husband's face lit up when I told him I was going to get training so I can do his dialysis myself at home. I was sooo happy I was able to do it and wish I had thought of it sooner. Thankfully he received a kidney about a year and a half ago. But while caring for my husband at home I could help but think about the other patients I use to meet in the center when I took my husband for his treatment that would complain about their care. I felt bad that they were not happy with the care they were receiving. You have enough things to worry about and finding someone helpful , pleasant, great attitude and person who enjoys caring for your love one should be part of your stress. I understand how important GOOD care is for a persons health both mentally and physically. I say it first hand how my husband's health deteriorated when he was being miss treated and how he flourished when he was cared for properly. I got a lot of "Good job." When I was caring for my husband they said his health were better than ever even with him being a dialysis patient. I am very proud of that.

They say if you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life. I LOVE my field in which the job I do. I love helping/caring for people that cannot do for themselves. Growing up having a family full of healthcare providers I was almost summoned to the group but not against my will. Particularly, in home care is my favorite type of work.

I became a caregiver in 2005 when my Mum was terribly sick and i happened to be the only one taking care of her and i discovered i have what it takes to take care of people. I am loving,caring and compassionate about people feeling.
