I have been wanting to do for a while and now I am doing it. 4.I am a 39 year old female that has worked as a CNA for over eighteen years now, I am now a student that's studying Medical Billing & Coding. I wanted to stay in the Healthcare field, I am single with no children hopefully oneday all of that will change but for now I will work and finish school. I am the oldest out of three I lost my baby brother on last year to a massive stroke so now it's just me and my sister and my nieces and nephew. I have worked in many areas of my CNA/Caregiver career such as In Home Healthcare, Nursing Staffing, Private Duty/Sitter, Long Term Care, and Hospital's.
i became a caregiver all because i want to help and also learn from different people how to interact with others. i like to listen and to take care of others as they are my family members and also support them always, i have been a caregiver for more than 7 years and love doing my work. Am proud to support someone to the best of their ability to be able to perform and do most by themselves. Am an honest and hardworking guy and like what i do.
my personality is very spontaneous and i love to just talk and have good conversions and if someone wants to do something i'm always the first one to say i'm in! what attracted to being a care giver is the fact t hat so many nursing homes don't give the elderly that they need, don't get me wrong i do know that they help but they don't engage with them, they treat them as a patient not a person. technically I've never been a certified caregiver but when my grandmother as sick i did all i could to make her last days worth it and i believe she died happy and not miserable, and not because of me but just being able to feel what its like to live a youthful life again before it was gone. a personal achievement i'm proud of is being 18 years old and already have a life plan.
Hi I have 8 years experience as a CNA I have a great passion for helping others I feel it was something I was born to do what brought to this career was my father taking care of his every need during his cancer battle made me see that I had a natural gift . I enjoy the all around experience of caregiving to include being there for the family as a loved one transitions to the other side
