Hello and thank you for taking an intrest in me. My name is Melissa. I have been in the medical field for 18 yrs. I started working as a medical asst and then went on to become an EMT in 2001 I started in home health care in 2003 when I lost my mom. I saw the level of care she recieved and how it impacted us as a family and I wanted to help someone else in the same way.. After being a caregiver for so many years I can honestly say I love what I do! I love being a part of team! I have lots of glowing references . I enjoy taking care of others and have been that way my whole life. It brings me joy to know I made a difference for someone.I would love to have the chance to give excellent care for yourself or loved one. I am reliable, friendly and have extensive knowledge in dementia, cancer patients, MS , behavioral disorders, stroke, after surgery care, and hospice care. I look forward to meeting you!
I'm a very compassionate person, and I've enriched the lives of many, while in the comfort of their own surroundings. I've worked in the medical field as a respiratory technician for 15 years, and I've been a certified caregiver for 20 years and found that in home health care is where my passion lies. The majority of my clients are elderly, and to remove them from their surroundings can often cause them too much trauma. Being in their homes with them, and assisting them in day-to-day activities, is always more comfortable and provides a much happier environment. I know at the end of each day I have shown them compassion and made their lives more comfortable and peaceful. I am certified in CPR and FIRST AID, and I am a CERTIFIED CAREGIVER. I also have an extensive medical background as a RESPIRATORY TECHNICIAN ,and other aspects in the medical profession.
Hello! N. Phoenix 5pm to 10pm only. I've been working in many aspects of healthcare since 1991. I Started out working with Young Adults with TBI and SCI injuries. I've run Alzheimer's Homes in the valley. From there I went into Hospital work as a CNA on Ortho, Med Surg, Tele, Oncology, Mental/Behavioral Health, Drug Addiction. Looking for more excitement I transferred into The Operating Room and worked as an Operating Room Assistant and later an Anesthesia Tech. Excitement got a little overwhelming so I learned to read Telemetry and was in charge of 60 plus people in the hospital on different floors. After 7 years there I left and started at Craig Hospital one of the Best rehab facilities in the country maybe the world. I was there for 13 years working with Major Brain injuries and Spinal cord injuries. In this time I became VERY proficient at working SCI & TBI. I'm a very good teacher which was part of my job educating family members so they could bring their loved ones home. I also have a VERY good understanding of TBI patients and spent Eight years working One On One with these individuals Relearning EVERY aspect of their lives again. Again, Educating family was a huge part of this job. I have tremendous experience and Impeccable references! In Twenty plus years in healthcare I've NEVER had a complaint against my license or inadvertently hurt ANY of my patients. Safety has always been my number ONE concern. I've received many awards for excellence in my years and go the extra mile to make sure my job was completed and my patients are comfortable and relaxed. After all we're here for them! I have a great personality and I'm VERY trust worthy. Im a man of my word. I work equally well with Men and Woman. My hearts in the right place. I'd love the opportunity to help you and your family member through difficult times. If you have any questions, Please feel free to inquire Thank You for stopping by! Have a Blessed day! Robert Richardson
I have been a caregiver my whole life. I can remember as young as 8 years old, going to work with my mom visiting patients in their rooms, brushing the hair of a woman who was bed bound. I knew from an early age that taking care of others brought me joy. I attained a CNA Certificate in 1999 and have worked in nursing homes, rehab centers, private homes, one to one care, have also worked with terminally ill patients for a short time. I would love to go back to school for a Practical Nursing License in the near future.

What makes me a great caregiver/cna that it comes from my heart .What attracted me to becoming a caregiver/cna was when i became my mother's full time caregiver.I didn't realize how much of a difference one can be that truly cares .I rejoice on putting a smile on someone and giving them care and love.I have accomplished alot in life but one of my great achievements has been being able to help my Mother and be there for her the 7 years she needed me.
Strong team player but can work independently because of how comfortable I am in this field.Caregiving came to me naturally due to my traditions. I have had the deepest pleasure of being a Certified Nursing Assistant for the last two years. Caring for those who cannot care for themselves is not only humbling, but it brings me such joy to know I'm allowed to be there for ups and downs that come along with the journey of life. I have had the opportunity of working with many different levels of capabilities in patients, which has made me mold-able and prepared for most situations. I'm a quick learner and the comfort of my patients is always my first priority. Along with my Nurses Aide Certificate, I also have my BLS and CPI certificates.
My personality traits as a Certified Nurse Assistant and Certified Caregiver are patience, compassion, attentiveness, dependability and trustworthiness. I take great pride of my position as a Certified Nurse Assistant, Certified Caregiver and motherhood. My certifications are all active and current ( CNA licensure with AZ State Board of Nursing, AZ Certified Caregivers Certificate, CPR/First Aid, TB test, and a DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card).
