As for what attracted me to be a care giver is I see so many articles and shows on tv showing all of these residents being abused and it broke my heart and I wanted to make a difference so I decided to go to a technical high school were I got my CNA as well as all of my other certifications. What I enjoy most about being a care giver is the smiles I get when I do even the littlest thing s for my residents I am not saying it is always easy or picture perfect but I think of my residents as family members and treat them exactly how I would treat my own family member because you always have to think they did not ask to be in there situation and that is what I always refer back to. I've became a cna because my mom has been working private duty for decades and I use to see how greatful her clients were to her and I love the feeling of helping my elders it makes my day knowing I can make there life a little easier and I love the bond that I receive from my patients and there family.
