I became a caregiver so that I could be able to take care of my mother, I like the one on one care that way I can take better care of the clients. My sisters and I took care of my mother for 14 years. I know she 's was getting the best care at home instead of being in a nursing home. I thank God she lived to be 92 years old. I have learn so much by taking care of her. I have been a Certified Nurse Assistant for 16 year. And I love taking care of peoples, that 's my calling.
I have been a caregiver for over 25 years What attracted me to being a caregiver is that my mother had an emergency with one of her caregivers and asked me to fill in and I have been caring for people every since,the most I love about being a caregiver is knowing that I am there to help people in need of my help.
