I volunteered at Union Hospital for three summers before obtaining my CNA licenses in 2013. My grandmother had a double hip replacement and needed assistance with getting out of bed and just everyday life for several weeks. I took care of her and it opened my mind and heart to caring for others. I have been a CNA for 6 years and I learn more about it all the time of what it takes, how I can impact someones life.
