I started nursing school in college and then went straight to work at hospitals, nursing homes, and at the comfort of people's homes. I am an advocate for the Alzheimer's Association, and volunteer as a caregiver support group facilitator. I have two children who are growing too fast, and a mother who is a cancer survivor who I took care of. Also, I am a lover of animals and have no problems taking care of them as well.

I received a CNA/Hematology Tech certificate in 1982. I worked as a CNA for 19 years. I enjoy helping my clients stay at home an continue an independent lifestyle. I listen closely and observe with a mind towards giving my clients what they want and not what I think they want. I enjoy making my clients feel comfortable with me by building a relationship with them. I learned how to adjust to the needs of my clients by inventing things if necessary for there comfort.
