I have over 20 years of experience in the caregiving field, both live in and live out situations. I am highly skilled in grooming toileting bathing dressing and transferring of elderly. I am well versed in assisting clients with activities of daily living and I have demonstrated ability to record and report changes in residents eating habits to supervisor or family. Because I am a very compassionate person, patient and fine seniors and elderly people very interesting to spin time with, the thaught of being able to help someone that truly appreciate the help we give. I have also been a business office manager in Psychiatry and was a Resident Assistant at an assistant living. Ever since I was young, I've always enjoy taking care of my grandparents weather I was painting toenails, shaving legs or giving a haircut or helping to house chores that were difficult for them. It always put a smile on my face. Not only do I enjoy helping others, but seeing the satisfaction of relief on their face on things that maybe difficult for them to complete or families with smiles that have stress relieved off of them is satisfying to me. I love what I do and I wouldn't do it any other way. With my experience, I have learned to be patient with others, listening to everyone, and think of all options or approaches before acting.

I am a dedicated caregiver with empathy and understanding. I connect really well with my patients and home care clients and just love taking care of others. I've done homecare on the side and currently have a client I'm taking care of as well. I've been in healthcare since 2009 and started out with Alzheimer's and started working on oncology in 2014. I am in the LPN program currently and graduating in December of 2019 & waiting time be accepted into the lpn to RN program. :)

I have been caregiving for nine years I have had the pleasure of working with some very wonderful clients with a wide range of various needs both Physical and mental. I attended a local college and received an EMT degree and had the privilege of working on an ambulance for about two years voluntarily. I thoroughly enjoy helping people and try to be a good assist as much as possible. I work well with others and consider myself a good listener with an open mind. I've been professionally caregiving for the past fifteen odd years since falling into it given my congenitally helpful nature, and bonus, it offers immediate gratification, unlike medical lab research. I am detail-oriented, conscientious, intelligent, hard-working, creative, and a good cook and serial volunteer. I also have a medical education and believe in lifelong learning. I will always be trying to anticipate needs and wants before anyone has to ask. I am proud of knowing my limitations while not being afraid to walking right up to them. I am also proud of my therapy dogs, who dearly love to be with people and know when they're with someone special.
