What makes me agrat caregiver is that all the residents I took care of have a good relationship with me I gave them the care they need. I really like taking care of the elderly, I learn a lot from them and it is really a blessing to take good care of them because I know one day I will be in that position and some one will take good care of me.
I became a caregiver because I want to work in the medical field after I graduate from college. I have always been drawn to helping and making connections with people. I have been working in assited livings for over a year now so I have had experience with people with different levels of care.

I am a great caregiver because I treat my clients male, or female, as if he, or she, are one of my family members. No there's no limits to my care, I will always go above and beyond. I've changed a lot of live, I also have saved lives, with in the past fourteen years I've been in this field. I became a caregiver because of several family members are in the same field, my mom is an registered nurse, going on 35 years, my grandmother was a LPN, and my aunts are CNA. So it deep rooted, so to speak.
Hi. My name is Kim. I've been a licensed LPN for over 20 years. I absolutely love what I do! I have always loved being around seniors. I was even a Candy stripper long ago. I'd say what makes me good at what I do is I'm an excellent listener, have deep empathy for those I care for and their families and I am very responsible. When I am tasked with taking of someone I take that as a privilege.A privilege to be part of their lives. I have been the Director of an Assisted Living for the last five years in Maryland. I loved my facility and the residents who lived there. I relocated to PA A few months ago because my husband is an Army Officer who is retiring in June. Please contact me with any questions and let's see if I can help with whatever your needs may be..
