I am a retired critical care nurse. I was always interested in nursing because my grandmother was an rn. My family has volunteered in the community with the fire department and rescue squad. The best thing I ever did was go back to school when I was 36 and become a nurse. I've been a caregiver to members of my family at certain points.ever since.
