I feel very passionate about helping others in their own environment .I feel as if I can give a gift ;a gift to others who want to stay in their own home. And , I want them to feel safe with doing so. I enjoy providing care to people in need.

I have always wanted to be a nurse/ caregiver and a teacher. I have accomplished being a teacher assistant and now I want to do the same as a nurse or caregiver. I enjoy helping others and making them feel comfortable and safe while doing so.

I have 14 years of nursing experience and have worked in a variety of nursing settings including skilled nursing, call center, home health, rehab, and acute care. I am dedicated, hard-working, and have a strong work ethic. I did take time off from nursing to raise my family, which I felt was the priority for my family. Since a return to the work force, I have dedicated myself to providing the best patient care and worked hard to utilize my talents and strengths. I think that my vast experiences in nursing and strong dedication and integrity make me a good option to care for you or your loved one. I like structure but I can adapt to most environments. I also prefer to know the rules and regulations and be part of a team that strives to uphold those rules and regulations. I got started caring for the elderly in my early 20s when I worked at an assisted living facility. I got my Nursing Assistant/ Home Health Aid certification in 1989. I love caring for the elderly. They are so wise and have so much knowledge. As a, young child I had to help my grandma with daily activities such as cooking, cleaning and,making sure she took her medication. And I love helping her it made me feel warm inside. I am organized and like to keep my clients on a schedule that not only benefits their health and wellness but their families as well. My great grandmother had parkinson's and I found caring for her was very exciting. Through my care with her it helped me build a better relationship with her. My Grandfather just passed away from Pancreatic Cancer and helping him was fairly easy as well. Now that my Grandma's husband is gone I have been helping her around the house . Such as locking doors, dishes and trash, cleaning and big projects such as rearranging a room for easier accomodation. Helping my family has attracted me towards Senior health care because we are all human and it is ok to ask for little help.
