I have 25/30 years working in the nursing profession. Although I am no longer certified, I have in the past processed a CNA, HHA,Medication Certification. I also have a Certificate in Healthcare Administration. I have worked with clients with a variety of medical concerns, and all ages. It is rewarding helping those in need of assistance in whatever is needed. Its is a great deed to see a smile and the peace of mind of a client when they receive the care needed to make their lives more comfortable. Its not only a blessing to myself, but a blessing to the client.
My personality traits and expertise is I like to make the patient feel pretty, handsome, comfortable all throughout my shift. I would never make a person feel uncomfortable. What attracts me is to know that I helped someone. To be that person that they depend on and make them happy and enjoy the life they live.
I used to work as a care giver for VNA (Visiting Nurses Association) as a HHA several years ago. I stopped because I needed full time hours at the time. I have experience working with cognitively delayed, physically challenged and dual diagnosed persons for more than twenty years. I've worked in Group Homes in South Jersey, as well as Ancora Psychiatric Hospital with patients who were deemed not guilty by reason of insanity. Both of these settings, allowed me the opportunity to work with individuals with various physical health illnesses, different personalities, and with severe mental diagnoses. I enjoy working with seniors. It gives me great joy to serve those in need. I'm easy to get along with, easy going, patient, caring, understanding, trust worthy, punctual, and treat others in the way that I want to be treated. I miss being a caregiver, thus is why I have decided to make myself available to serve others. One of my personal achievements is my ability to connect to all classes and races of people.
I provide residents and clients with professional care and respect. I became a care giver after caring for my handicapped brother who resides in a group home. I enjoy being a care giver because people need help. I am proud to be a care giver and to perform my job to the best of my knowledge.

I am a very honest, caring and loyal. I enjoy making my residents laugh. I have alot of patients when dealing with my residents. I also will go out of my way to do things for my residents such requests that other staff wont consider doing. I have work with clients since 1995. I took care of my mother and father. After their passing i decided to go to school to become CNA. I really enjoy getting the resident to open up and talk about their past. I have found that a lot of residents have very interesting stories.

Im a great caregiver that loves to interact with clients. I love to have one on one with clients and be able to listen to them talk about whatever they desire. I was attracted to becoming a caregiver by having to care for my hospice aunt who was dying from cancer. By seeing how life can change for the elderly over time, it made me look into becoming more active with the elders.
