Professional, Experienced,Dependable,Caring...I've been a CNA 20+ years from hospitals, home-care,hospice to schools,no job is too small or large if there's a need I can fill or fit into. My mother was an RN that owned a large senior day care that I grew up in, in her twilight years I became her caregiver so I've been on both sides of the 'caregiver' role, I know how hard it is to find a good match and how important dependability, honesty and a compassionate heart is. I've remained in this role all these years because I genuinely love history and people to me are the ultimate living walking history especially seniors. I've won many awards but I'm most proud when I'm able to bring comfort or a smile to someone. I have many references letters and awards, can provide all at interviews my hourly rate is negotiable depending on hours,
I'm a caring & compassionate person with 19 years of experience in the health care field. My personal experiences with cancer, dementia, alzheimers, respiratory & heart issues , & palliative & hospice care made me want to learn more about how to take care of people not just physically but mentally as well. It's so important . I'm CPR / first aid certified & also do light housekeeping if needed. Making a difference in people's lives gives me such joy & I can't imagine doing anything else.

I like to help people and, listening to the person. It all started when my grandmother had a stroke and was not able to care for herself, I helped in the care and recovery, assisting with the exercises to help her walk again . Watching the healing process, bring a smile to people brings satisfaction to my job. There are times when the person does pass on and the family says thank you for all you done and brings joy to their family member in their hard time.
I became a caregiver over 17 years ago when I saw my grand parents go through life changes and it inspired me. While being a caregiver I like to be able to help people and allow them to be as comfort as possible because I know how scary it is to go through so many unfamiliar times in your life. A personal achievement that I am proud of is when I set forth a goal to finish schooling after I had a child at a early age. It was my greatest accomplishment to be able to look into my daughter's eyes and show her how important a education is. Something about myself that you wouldn't know is that I'm a loving person, I'm compassionate, I'm goofy, yet firm when I need to be, I love dogs, and I have a thrive to help others.
