what makes me a great caregiver is that I have the patience to get to know someone rather its verbal or physical and it makes not only me but the client feel good that I understood the problem. I became a caregiver because its always been a passion for me to help others that genuine feeling is amazing kinda like a breathe of fresh air. what I like most about being a caregiver is meeting different people with different values that I sometimes adapt as my own. A personal achievement I am proud of is I signed back up for school to finish my degree in nursing

Hi! My name is Kathy Masino. I am a retired Registered Nurse who decided to stay at home and raise my 3 beautiful children who are now grown and doing their own thing out in the world. I could not be prouder of them or more thankful for the opportunity I had to stay home and raise them. I truly miss the nursing aspect that brought much joy and fulfillment to my life. I would love the opportunity to work again with the elderly in the capacity of a companion with the added benefit of having a nursing background. I believe everyone deserves respect, dignity, compassion in the elder years. Growing old is not easy and unfortunately Father Time gets us all! I have always enjoyed the stories and the quiet moments with elders. They have much to share and much to learn from.

Hello! I decided to look for a care giving job because of my desire to serve and love people. I believe that everyone should live a fruitful life with whatever abilities they may have and I want to be a part of that prospering. I worked at a summer camp that hosted hundreds of individuals with all different abilities, physical and mental. At the camp I did just about everything that is needed regarding personal care. I also graduated from Grove City College with a degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Psychology which helped me learn how to handle different physical situations and make adaptations as needed. I have some valuable experience, but would love to continue to learn through any individual I may work with; I understand that everyone is unique and may need cared for in a special way :) Please don't hesitate to reach out to me with any questions you may have!
