I am a National Certified Patient Care Technician.I have experience with people diagnosed with dementia, strokes, cancer, C. O. P. D, total care, quadriplegic, diabetes, high blood pressure, neuropathy, CHF, and other heart conditions, Multiple sclerosis. I'm sure I missed a few, will update later. I have experience with hoyer lift, wheel chair, lift, transfer, ambulatory, bed pan, colostomy, urinal, catheter care, perineal care, feeding, cooking, taking all vital signs. As long as I can remember I have always liked helping people that's why i started out being a CNA over 10 years ago. I find joy in being able to assist others with things that they can't seem to do anymore or even just being a listening ear when they want to talk about their good old days.

Hi there! I became a CNA in 2005, after taken care of my grandmother her last few years. The way I felt after taking care of her, I knew taking care of others was my calling. I can remember her always telling me with my heart and my compassion I needed to pursue nursing in some way. I find it so very rewarding to care for my elder and give back to them. I enjoy seeing them smile cause I made there day by simply just listening to them, assisting them with things, playing a game, or cleaning them up. I am very organized, responsible, dedicated, compassionate and truly love caring for my elders. I have been nominated twice in my CNA career for CNA of the year. I feel very blessed that I was recognized for my hard work and dedication.

My personal experience from the age of 17 have always been very carrying for other,self moving on get the job done and will not walk away for what gets and my way.

I am RN for a local rehab hospital, I have been a nurse for about 8 years, I've worked in several different nursing specialty including long term care. I enjoy being a caregiver because I love providing care to those who have cared for others probably their entire lives. I have had family that have required the care of other and they were absolutely wonderful so I like to "pay it forward", and be that supportive helping hand to other families who may need it. In my nursing career I've met people from all walks of life who have been so supportive and encouraging to me even during hard times the families are still so appreciative and thankful for the care provided to their loved ones.
