I became a caregiver/CNA because I get great joy helping people. I have always as a child, helped people. Even if i couldn't do much I would try my hardest to do all that I could. Becoming a CNA was the best thing and the most accomplished move that I've done in my life. I have 20 years experience as a CNA and I am very observant with my patients and detect when there is a change in their behavior or health. I take my job very seriously and I put my heart in everything that I do for my patients.
I knew that i wanted to take of people since i was in the seventh grade. I love being able to take care of people and help take care of people who cannot really do the things that they used to be able to do. I have been told by many clients that i am compassionate and they love my attitude. They have told me that they appreciate my kindness and would love for me to come back and take care of them again. I will always love taking care of people. I believe that I was born for this job. I couldn't imagine doing anything else with my life. I would love to take care of anyone willing to let me take care of them. I have tons of patience and understanding. I believe that i have the compassion and great attitude that is needed for this type of job.
my job is the care and companionship of people, prepare food, bathe, change their diapers, be aware of their medications, heal wounds if necessary, check their vital signs, bathe them, treat them so that they are always at the weight what you have to have, wash them and clean your kitchen, wash your clothes, everything about cleaning your house, taking them to appointments with your doctor, going to pick up your medicine or going to buy your pantry Experrncia 4years
I have so many personality traits or expertise that help me to be a great caregiver starting that I am a very fun-loving, caring individual, with, a great heart and treat people like my family, with, respect and dignity. I am also, very dedicated and very patient. Of the many things that attracted me of being a caregiver, is that I strive to make a difference in the people's lives and i simply want to help out the clients and their families who are seeking help. Of the many things I enjoy being a caregiver is that I enjoy putting smiling faces on people. I enjoy being there and lend a helping hand. One of my personal achievements that I am proud of is knowing that I can build people's trust in me to allow me to take care of them and to build relationships as if we we're like all a family, which, practically that is really who we are, all a family.
Hello my name is Priscilla, I have been a nurse Assistant for more than 6 years. My first job was with Alzheimer's and dementia I was there for a year and I learn so much. I also learned how to be able to work with such great patients and also how to cope with their families. From there I went to go work for Kindred Hospital, in that facility I learn everything from infections and long term care, I also learn how to care for ICU patients. I worked for Kindred for three years. I then moved on to Las Palmas Medical Center, I was there a year. I worked for the surgical floor, there I learn how to care for all types of surgeries and how to assist patients with their daily tasks. Where I'm currently working is in the Hospitals of Providence, I been here since 2017 my duties are to take care of suicidal patients and to make sure they are safe at all times. My goals are to become a nurse, I am currently part time in school and I would love to continue to grow in my career as a medical professional. Thank you.
