Personally I believe what makes me a great care giver is my caring and kind personality. I've dealt with many different cases and what I enjoy most either than caring for someone is making them a part of my family. I take pride and joy in being a caregiver because I never got a chance to have my own grandparents and in each case it's nice to get a chance to share each different experience with a client that either needs love, companionship, comfort or even a little help. My greatest achievement is honestly being able to still be caring, pateint and loving and treating each case personally.
I enjoy geriatric care , I have over 28 years of certified nursing care and senior care services. I've worked in Hospitals, nursing homes ,assisted living, private homes and memory care facilities as well . I enjoy the time I worked as a rehab tech assisting my boss who is a Doctor of physical therapy, learned and still apply all that he trained me in towards my caregiving today. I love helping my clients to reach their goal of daily living, something most of us take for granted.
I became a CNA because I love taking care of others. It gives me joy to make someone smile or to see them reach a goal. A personal achievement that I'm proud of is helping a client that was not able to use his left hand because his bones was cracked and right foot because his heel was chattered. I was able to help rehab him back to a functional arm and foot by using range of motion and different activities. A little about myself is that I'm 35 and have been working in this field for 16 years. I'm very goal oriented, patient, and dependable.

So give me a chance to show you and your family some love. Thank you and have a Blessed Day,Teanish Porter

There is a wonderful feeling that I get when I see a flower in bloom. I may have started with only a seed, but I plant in the richest soil and add the warm loving embrace of sunshine and the gentle touch of rain. Although I'm not much on botany, I get this feeling when I see a beautiful person in my care bloom with radiance and enthusiasm for life once again. This is the joy that I have as I share my passion with the loved one's that you entrust me with. Care is more than jobs or chores or tasks that needs be done. It's doing what I love, to increase the quality of life in those that need it the most and keeping the energy and zest for life alive in those that don't.
