I'm a very cheerful person who enjoys caring for others. I became a caregiver in 2018 and thought I'm not sure if this is for me but we will see! Well 4 almost 5 years Later I love what I do no matter the person, age or problems they have Being able to help someone and be their friend at the same time make me enjoy my work much more. Being a healthcare worker is more than just a job/career to me it's my life and I enjoy every bit of it. My most recent achievement I am proud of as a caregiver was helping an elderly lady a couple of houses down from me and she had fallen outside there was no one around to help her at the time, my family and I had come home from a night out so I put my children in the house and ran over to make sure she was okay and proceeded to help her up check her scratches and bruises out and help her inside her home. It was actually the same lady who gave me a hard time at one point but that time nothing else mattered.

I like working with people I like helping other's. I enjoy haveing conversations with the elderly cause they have so much to talk about and some of the stories are very interesting to me my personal achievements in this jobs is making people happy making people laugh and just being there for them and taking care of them.

I'm a very fast learner. Pick up on new things easy. Love to meet new people. I have taken care of many love ones in my life. My mother, father had bad health and grandmother had cancer and I cared for them all. I worked at Roanoke Clinic briefly after having to go out due to having a baby

I feel I am compassionate enough to have this gift to work with anyone who need a care. I love the fact of knowing that I can care for someone on Their darkest days and maybe even provide a smile.
