Caregiving has been my calling and career for the past thirly years. I have worked in a variety of health care settings. However, homecare has been mostly my focus. I enjoy assisting clients to remain in the comfort of their homes. I am a self starter, diligent, attentive and compassionate caregivers. In addition, any family who chooses to hire me would be satisfied with my service. I sincerely enjoy caring for people.

I have about 32 years of experience being a caregiver. I use to own my own Caregiver agency but, it took me away from providing personal care to my clients, I decided to give that up so I could work closer with the client. I've provided care for individuals with MS. I currently work part time for the State of Washington as a certified Care Giver & I have a couple of part time clients . I feel & have been told I'm a great caregiver because I think of others first, filling the needs of others before myself. I think the best way to be a affective caregiver is to really have consideration for the fact that, it could sometimes be Very humiliating having someone to provide care for you & to treat others as you want to be treated. I always talk to my clients and helping them to see that I do understand how it feels to be able to once have done things for yourself and now to have to rely on someone else. I also forgot to mention that I have a daughter who lives with me, she's now 30 and she's been on dialysis for about 10 years and so I have quite a bit of experience in the medical field. I was also certified as a CNA for about 20 years I am not currently certified but, have loads of experience working with the elderly, I've worked on my own, in nursing homes & hospitals. I've worked for the State of California in a Veterans home for about 10 years just prior to me coming to Seattle. I've been in Seattle for 14 years.

I am dedicated to providing excellent care to my clients, I feel it shows when I come in to see my clients are excited to see me, I love to bring a smile to my client's because I feel sometimes that's all it takes to change a outlook on a situation is a smile and a caregiver who really cares as I do . I enjoy helping Eldery and my goal is to make sure each of my clients have nice day everyday.

Am Carrying, patient and good listener. My childhood dream to become a nurse. Being care giver is helping individuals I enjoy that at the same time it is my source of income. Why I'm become a care giver because I like helping people. Also, I used to live with my grandma and I was helping her every step of the way so that motivated me become a care giver. I enjoy working as a care giver, and I enjoy the most being family with all of my clients. My clients are very happy when they see me because I always try to understand and know what my clients want. My daughter was born in 2001 with a very rare disorder which threw me into a unexpected situation of intensive care stays, surgeries, caring for many medical conditions, learning from doctors and was trained by nurses to care for my daughter so she would not have to live at Childrens Hospital. I learned and was able to care for my child, some things very difficult on many levels. My father is a retired orthepedic sugeon and Dr and my mother was a surgical nurse . They call me \"Dr Mom\". I take this as a very big compliment with their backgrounds. My daughters experiece has made me realize I lost my calling in the medical field. I am looking to do something flexible and give care I feel I am good at. I am looking to do this because I enjoy it. I am told over and over I should seek some type of employment in this field because I am \"so nice\". I can say I have a big heart and I enjoy family, my kids, helping others. I am not able at this time to work full-time as I have older kids and schedules with them but I am looking for the right opportunity to help others and in turn feel I am giving back in life. It makes me feel good to help others and make a difference in someone else life with companionship. I am not looking to do heavy house work but don't mind doing some simple chores.

You will find that I am a dedicated care provider with extensive knowledge of geriatric and rehabilitation procedures, and follow-up care and care patients.
