I am a 42 year old married mother of 1 College sophomore and a Veteran. I have been doing Home Health Care on and off for the past 20 plus years. I nursed my own grandmother through a partial mastectomy and knee surgery. I assisted in hospice care for my husband's mother. I understand how hard it is to keep a job and to care for family members. I am not a fan of nursing homes I feel it is better for one to be at home with family and familiar surroundings. Please message for references.

Hi, my name is Earlicia, I'm 21 years old. I was adopted as a child by an older couple(my parents) and was raised with respect, so I am very mature for my age. Before my father passed away he was very sick in my young adulthood, that gave me lots of responsibilities in knowing how to care for the elderly and also the sick by proudly catering to him in his time of need. What I love the most about being a caregiver is being able to help out anyone in need and also growing that bond with a new friend. Being surround by older & wiser people all my life has given me that advantage in life to go very far, in which for example ,I am currently attending college to do what i love (patient care) and that's more than a proud achievement to me.
My personality traits are caring, consistent, sense of humor, very patient. Kind, also respectful. It is something that I think would be a good career builder for me, and I can grow to get better. I was always around my grandparents and other elders, you can learn a lot from them and you can always be there for eachother. A personal achievement I'm proud of is when I graduated in Job Corps and it was a great life experience, with a certificate for Culinary Arts.
I'm a 39y/o who loves taking care of others. I'm very caring and compassionate. Detail oriented and always on time!. I'm highly organized and enjoy cooking. I truly enjoy caring for my patients, always very mindful of their needs. The one thing brings joy to me is knowing that I'm giving my patients the care and respect they deserve, no matter their physical or mental state, treating them with dignity is my priority.
I have had an extraordinary heart for as long as I can remember. I have always wanted to love and stop hate. I have more patience than anyone I know especially at my age. I have always been a great care giver because of my love of kindness. I am the oldest girl out of 5 and have helped my parents for as long as I can remember. I also helped with my grandmother when she became ill and moved in with us until her passing. Overall, I love working with children, elderly, and animals because I am able to share my joy with them and hopefully, ultimately create happiness for everyone I care for. :)
My companionship for others makes me a good caregiver. I feel that it's my responsibility to bless those who aren't capable of doing the everyday tasks that I'm able to do then that's where I come in at cause if it was me then I'll want someone to do it for me in return. I love the giving back part of my jobs love the feeling I get when helping others. I'm proud of actually working in a feild that even if I had to do it free I'll still do it cause it's more than a job to me everyone is family to me.
I've been in healthcare for over 10+ years. I started as a caregiver and later went to school to become a Certified Nurse Aide & Certified Medication aide. I recently was attending nursing school however, my school closed down 5 months before I could finish. So I started back doing what I love caring for seniors.
