Hi, I have been a Caretaker for 40 Years and to this day I Love It. I like the feeling of being trusted with someone most Dearest. There Mom and Dad or someone they Love. I love working it out to make everyone I can at Peace. OK, It sometime don't turn out the way I plan but I am OK with it as long as I know I did my Very Best. I have worked in Nursing Homes which is were I started out. Hospitals, Assisted Living, EEG Tech in Hospital. House Parent for MHMR. Now that I am 62 I only work with one at a time. Smile May I have a chance to use my God given Skills for your Love One. Thank You in Advance
I have worked off and on since 1985 caring for the elderly. I am available weekly Monday through Thursday for a 10/12 hour shift each day, either days or nights. I am available also for working a 7 day shift opposite another who works the other 7 days. It Is much easier having 2 caregivers and makes the Senior's life easier. We get to know their likes and dislikes, the routine stays the same and the family is more comfortable knowing the care givers. I cared for both of my parents and find Care Giving for the Elderly to be very rewarding by giving then the chance to remain at home in comfortable surroundings. I have 10 years with Dementia/Alzheimer's Care, 20+years with Diabetic Care. I love to cook and light housekeeping is no problem. I drive to appointments, shopping and just a drive itself. I'm very experienced with shopping for the Senior and always try to follow their likes. I have my CPR(Adult/Child/Infant/Choking) AED/First-Aid/Bloodborne Pathogens Certificate.
I treat all patients as if they were family. I don't treat any better than others. I want to help the elderly so the family doesn't have to put their life on hold. I love helping others. I am glad I am able to let the elderly/disabled continue on with a normal life as possible stress free.

I became a caregiver 20+ years ago, because it's something I am passionate about. In those 20 years I obtained experience in various facets of patient care. My strengths are that I tend to add an element of humor along with compassionate, empathetic and loving care. I enjoy what I do, and I must say...I am GOOD at what I do. I look forward to hearing from you. Please feel free to contact me at any time.

I am 31 years old, born and raised in Paris. The most I can say about being a caregiver, is that I have always wanted to help. I worked for another care giving job for three boys, two around my age and one exactly in between my parents' ages. This was the most rewarding job I ever had. I felt like I made a difference, not only because I did simple things like cook and clean for them, and help them walk to the car and stay safe. What really did it for me is that I know in my heart that I LOVED doing it. Helping those boys by being a happy, smiling, bright, face they could see, then relate it to someone who gives them a feeling of security and safety and love is the greatest part. If I were rich, I'd do it for free. <3
