I became a caregiver because my passion in life is helping others. I have 13 years experience working with altzheimers,dementia and hospice cases. I've been blessed and thankful that God always puts me where I am needed. I grow very attached to my clients and treat them as if they were family. I'm honest, patient,loving,and give 100% to everything I do in life. I don't do this type of care just for a paycheck , I do it because I'm good at it and love it !!!!
Hi I am an very experienced compassionate caregiver I am not certified but I do have 15+ years experience. I am originally from Illinois been in Texas for 9 years. I am looking forward to becoming a nurse and I love what I do. I have been working in Alzheimer's for the last 9 years. I have a beautiful family that's why I prefer to work overnight shift but willing to work day shift (9am-3pm) to be more specific. I'm a very dependable hard worker with patience. I also have longevity with my past employers. I do have references if needed.
I'm certified by the State of Texas as a CNA; I completed a 8-week training course at Houston Community College. I did a month of clinical at Treemont Assisted Living facility located in Houston, Texas. My duties were feeding, bathing, dress, and assist with mobility. In terms of your job requirements, I can cook, clean, and do laundry. I can work 10+ hours on my feet without tiring, can lift, carry and transport items up to 30lbs. I'm currently thinking of going back to school and becoming a certified medication assistant ( CMA ) in addition to a ( CNA ). I think it would be an excellent way to elevate the quality of my care.I'd love the opportunity to sit down with you and discuss it in person. The urge to help others attracted me to being a caregiver. What I enjoy the most being a caregiver is taking care of sick people that needs help gives me Joy in my heart and I love the satisfaction of knowing that I have such an important impact on people's lives. Hello I am a nursing student and a Certified Medical Assistant/ Certified Nursing Assistant of 10 plus years. I have a passion for caring for elderly adults and adults with special needs since my teenage years. I'm most proud when I have my clients/ patients thank me for a job well done. My patient's and clients often feel like I go the extra mile to make sure their needs are met, however, to me its just my way of giving my clients/patients high quality healthcare. My personal achievement that I'm most proud of is getting excepted into a nursing program. I plan to own and operate my own assisted living facility in the next 5 plus years.
