I am a caring and compassionate person and enjoy taking care of people. I became an LPN in 1989 to help those in need. If I can make a person's life easier by caring and taking care of them, then I have been blessed.

Have worked as CNA for Nursing homes, Easter Seals, Integrity Inc. and Seniors Serving Seniors. What attracts me to caregiving is assisting others fo maintain their lifestyle. I enjoy being able to help others. A personal achievement I am proud of is becoming a better person than I was the day before.

I started in healthcare at 15 years old. I started by taking care of my mom, as she had mini strokes & had to go to therapy. I would go to therapy with my mom & then help her at home, then I helped my dad get his stuff ready to go to work every morning. After my daddy left for work I'd take a nap just before going to school. I enjoy being around elderly people, having conversations, helping them with daily tasks & being a companion to them. I've been to school to be a CNA, a Certified Medical Assistant, Pharmacy Tech, Emergency Medical Technician & hopefuly one day finish achieving my RN degree. I'm also a mom of four grown children & I have nine grandbabies. I enjoy taking care of people of all ages. I specialize in caring for people with disabilities & Alzheimers/Dementia disease.
